Kuthubul Zaman Bukhari has held various positions in the Malaysian Bar and the Bar Council.  He was the Secretary from 2000 to 2002, the Vice President from 2002 to 2003 and the President of the Malaysian Bar and Chairman of the Bar Council from 2003 to 2005. Kuthubul Zaman Bukhari also heads the Bar Council’s Arbitration & Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. He was the Chairman of the Asian Mediation Association from 2011-2013 and is also the Chairman of the Malaysian Mediation Centre.
