Anil Xavier

Anil Xavier is the Charter Member and presently the President of Indian Institute of Arbitration & Mediation. He is a Charter Member and presently the Vice-President of the India International ADR Association. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the ADR Law Section of the Indian National Bar Association.Mr. Xavier has been involved in many multiparty complex civil/ commercial/ business/ corporate domestic and international mediations and arbitrations in his capacity as arbitrator, mediator and lawyer.

Mr. Xavier is an international Accredited Negotiator and Mediator of ADR Chambers UK. He is the first IMI Certified Mediator from India. He was designated as a Senior Fellow of the Dispute Resolution Institute of the Hamline University School of Law, USA. Anil Xavier is the Chairman of the Accreditation Committee of the Asian Mediation Association (AMA). He is also a member of the Independent Standards Commission and Ethics Committee of the International Mediation Institute (IMI). Mr. Xavier is empanelled as an International Accredited Mediator of the Singapore International Mediation Centre, and the Florence International Mediation Centre of the Chamber of Commerce. He is also empanelled as an international Arbitrator with Newton Arbitration, London. He is a member of the International Advisory Board (IAB) of the Afghanistan Centre for Commercial Dispute Resolution (ACDR) and a member of the Advisory Council of Global Mediators Network, UK. He is the Chief Coordinator for conducting the Global Pound Conference series in India.
