Long Fei

Long Fei, female, was born in February, 1971. She is a judge and the Director of Judicial Reform Office of the Supreme People’s Court. In terms of education, she received her Doctor’s degree ofJudicial Science from China University of Political Science and Law after receiving her Bachelor’s degree of Laws from Northwest University of Political Science and Law and Master’s degree of Law in Shan Dong University.
Long Fei engaged in administrative and state compensation trials in the Shandong Province Wei Hai Intermediate People’s Court from 1995 to 2007,soshe has heard hundreds of administrative and state compensationcases. Since 2008, she has been transferredto Judicial Reform Office of the Supreme People’s Court. She has also been involved in the drafting of the Outline of the Thirdand the ForthFive-year Reform.In recent years, Long Fei has undertaken numerous reform programs, such as Judicial Transparency, Collegiate Bench Mechanism, Jurisdictional Operating Mechanism, and Diversified Dispute Resolution Mechanism, drafting more than 10 reform papers.Moreover, she has also participated in drafting and amendingthe judicial interpretationsof Civil Procedure Law. Collaborating with others in academic research, she wrote “The Basic Principle of Judicial Publicity”, and organized the compilation of “ADR Abroad: Systems Rules and Skills”, publishing more than 60 academic articles.
